That this House recognises the immense contribution of Sir David Attenborough to public understanding of the natural world, biodiversity and conservation; notes that he will celebrate his 100th birthday on 8 May 2026; commends his decades of broadcasting and environmental advocacy, which have inspired generations across the United Kingdom and beyond; further notes the importance of protecting and restoring nature for future generations; and calls on the Government to consider designating 8 May each year as a National Nature Day to celebrate the environment and promote action to protect the natural world.
