That this House congratulates Des Loughney on 50 years of service to the Edinburgh Trade Union Council, including his current role as Secretary; acknowledges his impact on the wider trade union movement; recognises his long term contribution to the Longstone Community Council; applauds his work to ensure public services support those in greatest need; notes his support for third sector organisations across Edinburgh; and wishes him well in his future service.
