Motion text

That this House congratulates South Glos Parent Carers on its many years of dedicated work supporting parent carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in South Gloucestershire since 2009; recognises the vital role of parent carer forums in representing the collective voice of SEND families, sharing lived experience with service providers and working towards positive change; commends the organisation for the breadth of its work, including its drop-in support, online workshops, community engagement and contribution to the co production of local SEND services; acknowledges the dedication of its staff, volunteers and parent carer representatives, whose efforts have built a well informed and empowered community of families; and wishes South Glos Parent Carers continued success in its mission to ensure that every child and young person with SEND can reach their full potential.
