Blackhall Children’s Sports Committee

That this House congratulates the Blackhall Children’s Sports Committee on securing funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that this support will enhance the delivery of the Blackhall Children’s Sports Day to be held on Saturday 6 June in Ravelston Park; recognises the creativity and enthusiasm shown by pupils of Blackhall Primary School in producing designs for this year’s Sports Day art competition, which will be proudly displayed as part of the community celebrations; acknowledges the importance of community-led events that encourage children and families to participate in sport, physical activity and healthy recreation; commends the volunteers and organisers whose efforts help strengthen community spirit and social inclusion; and wishes all those involved every success for this year’s event.
