That this House congratulates Findlay Curtis from Balfron on his selection for the Scotland squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup; recognises the remarkable progress of this talented young footballer, who began his career in Rangers’ academy at the age of six and has since developed into a first-team player, making his senior debut in 2025 and gaining valuable experience in domestic and European competition; notes his successful loan spell at Kilmarnock, where his goals helped the club secure its Scottish Premiership status; further notes his Scotland debut at Hampden Park earlier this year and his rapid rise to the international stage; applauds the inspiration his achievements provide to young people across Stirling and Strathallan constituency and beyond; and wishes Findlay every success as he represents Scotland on the world stage, and extends best wishes to Steve Clarke and the rest of the Scotland team for their success at the World Cup.
