That this House congratulates Vincent Willson on his retirement after more than 40 years of dedicated service to the people of Devon through the Citizens Advice service in Devon; notes that he has worked within the Citizens Advice service in Devon since 1985, including 24 years with the Devon Welfare Rights Unit and subsequently as manager of Citizens Advice Teignbridge; recognises his outstanding contribution to welfare rights advice, training and advocacy, particularly for disabled people and others navigating complex benefits systems; further notes his commitment to sharing knowledge and developing the skills of advisers across the county through his training work and partnerships with voluntary and community organisations; also notes that Members representing Devon constituencies have witnessed first-hand the invaluable support provided by Citizens Advice staff and volunteers under his leadership, helping residents navigate some of the most challenging periods of their lives; acknowledges the profound impact his work has had in helping thousands of people understand and exercise their rights during times of hardship and uncertainty; thanks him for a career dedicated to public service, fairness and social justice; and wishes him a long, healthy and fulfilling retirement.
