Motion text
That this House notes that Postural Tachycardia Syndrome is a common, multisystem, long term condition that often causes severe disability in young people, in some cases leaving people housebound or bed-ridden and unable to access education or work; further notes that despite being a complex condition amenable to treatment there are few specialist services and no care pathways for patients in the UK; and believes that this indicates a need for access to a specialist and a patient pathway in every region of the UK to enable equitable access to healthcare for affected people.
