That this House celebrates the success of Gladstone Pottery Museum, in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent; recognises its recent national recognition as one of the best museums to visit in the UK; further recognises that it is the UK’s last remaining complete Victorian coal-fired pottery factory; also recognises its contribution to the heritage of Stoke-on-Trent through its preservation of the city’s world-renowned pottery industry; and commends the Museum for showcasing the history, skills and processes of ceramics making to visitors of all ages.
