That this House, during negotiations around UK/EU reset, calls for stronger international cooperation and enforcement, around the illegal shooting of significant numbers of migratory birds during Spring migration through European countries, such as Malta, which sits on a major flyway between Europe and Africa and provides passage for UK bird species and whose Government consistently seeks annual derogations from EU law to continue the inhumane practice of shooting birds that should be protected, to be held to account and not supported in any UK negotiations until this illegal activity ceases.
