Motion text
That this House expresses its extreme concern with the decision of Moygashel Bonfire Association to place and set alight a replica of a Mosque on top its 12 July celebration pyre; respects the right to freedom of religion and cultural expression for everyone and asks these same rights are afforded to all; condemns hate in all its forms; welcomes the Government’s new definition of anti-muslim hatred as a positive step forward for inclusion and education; and requests the Government and Police Service of Northern Ireland investigate these abhorrent images and act appropriately as laid out within law.
