That this House congratulates the pupils, staff and parents of Gavinburn Primary School on achieving the UNICEF UK Silver Rights Respecting School Award; commends the dedication of the school community in embedding the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child throughout the life and ethos of the school through rights-based home learning, its Rights Respecting Newsletter and a pupil-led lunch hall charter; notes that the assessor's report found Gavinburn Primary School to be a nurturing environment that respects the rights of children and highlighted how pupils are empowered to enjoy and exercise their rights both locally and globally; recognises the outstanding commitment shown by the Pupil Leadership Group in preparing for and participating in the accreditation process; and wishes the entire Gavinburn Primary School community every success as it continues its work to promote children's rights, participation and responsible citizenship.
