That this House celebrates Stirling Pride 2026, recognising it as one of Scotland’s most inclusive and community-driven Pride events; commends the organisers, volunteers and partner organisations whose dedication delivered a full day of free, accessible and family-friendly activities across Stirling; notes the success of the Pride March from Kings Park to King Street, followed by an afternoon Main Stage featuring drag, music and performance from several artists; further notes the contribution of the Pride Market at the Albert Halls, showcasing around 60 stalls from local makers, charities and community groups; welcomes the introduction of the new Wellbeing Hub offering quiet space, crafting and support services from organisations including Action in Mind, NHS Forth Valley Equality, Inclusion and Wellbeing Service, Endometriosis UK and Stirling & District Women’s Aid; acknowledges the wide range of additional community events including the Pride Ceilidh, Pride at the Smith, the youth-led Pride Pit Stop and the evening Pride Afters; and further celebrates the symbolic lighting of the National Wallace Monument and the Tolbooth in rainbow colours, paying tribute to the Stirling Pride Committee and its volunteers for delivering a vibrant, welcoming and empowering celebration of LGBTQ+ equality across Stirling and the wider region.
