That this House congratulates Satty Singh, Glasgow restaurateur and community stalwart, on his appointment as Honorary Colonel of the 52nd (Lowland) Support and Signal Squadron; recognises his decades of dedication to Glasgow's business community and the strong ties he has built across the city; notes that this appointment has been timed to coincide with Saragarhi Day, which marks the extraordinary courage of the 36th Sikh Regiment, who in 1897 held the Saragarhi post against overwhelming odds, a story of sacrifice and duty that continues to inspire; celebrates the significance of a proud son of Glasgow taking on this distinguished role; and commends Satty Singh as an example of what community leadership and service to others truly looks like.
