That this House congratulates 17-year-old Shetland strongwoman Lauri Siegel on winning a silver medal at the Static Monsters World Championships in Phoenix, Arizona; recognises her outstanding achievement in finishing second in the junior female category; celebrates her remarkable progress after taking up strongwoman training in January following a serious arm break which kept her from sport for nine months; commends her achievement in representing Shetland on the world stage at just 17 years old; further recognises the dedication of Lauri, her family, coaches, sponsors and the wider Shetland community who supported her journey and fundraising; understands that her performance in Phoenix secured her an invitation to compete at the 2027 Static Monsters World Championships in Benoni, South Africa; and wishes Lauri every success in her future strongwoman career.
