That this House celebrates the 20th anniversary of Kircubbin Community Church this year; highlights the church’s children’s outreach programme, entitled WhizzKidz, which has been running for almost 30 years and, at its peak, welcomed between 80 and 90 children each day; thanks Phil Derrick for his contribution to the founding and leadership of the church and as he prepares to step down next year from leading WhizzKidz; recognises the welcoming atmosphere the church seeks to create as a community for those who believe in Jesus, as well as for those who are simply searching to know more; commends the church for its work in partnership with the Kircubbin Regeneration Programme to help plan and coordinate community festivals and events; and wishes Kircubbin Community Church continued growth as it continues to serve as a valued pillar of the local community.
