That this House warmly congratulates Naomi Orr School of Dance in Lisburn on winning three awards at the Golden Dance Awards NI, including Medium Dance School of the Year for Northern Ireland, Top Performance School for Jazz and the Shining Star Award for Megan Mateer; further congratulates every dancer at the school on their talent, hard work and dedication; pays tribute to Principal and Owner, Naomi Orr, and her teachers, along with the families who support them, for the hours of rehearsal and commitment behind the result; recognises the school’s welcoming approach to dancers of all ages and abilities; further recognises the confidence, friendships and opportunities the school gives children and young people, and the sense of belonging it gives families across Lagan Valley; celebrates the pride these awards have brought to the whole Lisburn dance community; and wishes everyone at the school, and across Lisburn’s dance community, continued success.
