That this House congratulates Emma Burgess of Quendale, Shetland, on being named Farmers Weekly’s 2026 Agricultural Student of the Year; recognises the hard work, commitment and ambition that have seen Emma gain experience in agriculture both in the UK and internationally; celebrates her determination to bring new knowledge and ideas back to Shetland to strengthen her family’s farm and support the wider agricultural community; notes her commitment to improving opportunities, training and support for young people entering agriculture; and wishes Emma every success as she continues to contribute to the future of farming in Shetland.
