That this House congratulates Fleetwood Town Football Club on their historic win against reigning Premier League champions Arsenal in the League Cup on Tuesday evening; commends the players, coaching staff, ground staff, and fans for producing one of the most memorable nights in the town’s history; acknowledges the 84-place gap between the two clubs at the time the fixture was played; further congratulates Conor Haughey for scoring the winning penalty; further congratulates Jay Lynch for his outstanding goalkeeping; and wishes Fleetwood Town the best of luck in their quarter-final and for the rest of the tournament.
