That this House congratulates pupils and staff at High School Leckhampton in Cheltenham on achieving Modeshift STARS Excellent School Travel Plan accreditation, one of only 27 secondary schools nationally to reach that standard; notes that 72.4 per cent of pupils now travel to school actively; recognises the work of the school's Active Travel Ambassadors, who secured a further £5,000 from Gloucestershire County Council for cycle and scooter storage; further notes that Modeshift, in its 25th year, is about to reach its 10,000th accredited school; welcomes the Government's target of 60 per cent of children walking, wheeling or cycling to school by 2035; and calls on the Government to support school travel planning as a route to safer, healthier school journeys.
