Motion text

That this House notes with much pleasure the state ceremony held in Prague to honour the memory of the seven British-trained Free Czech paratroopers who successfully carried out their mission in 1942 and assassinated Heydrich, who headed the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia; believes that the heroism of those who shot the notorious Nazi killer will always be remembered and honoured by anti-fascists, including the manner in which they resisted to the death the Gestapo and SS troops who had located their hiding place in a church crypt; and also pays homage to the lasting memory of all the civilians murdered in Lidice by the Nazis as a reprisal for Heydrich's assassination.
