Motion text

That this House calls on the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the Exchequer to ensure that the Bingham Report into the collapse of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International is published in full before 16th July to enable honourable Members to have the opportunity of debating its findings before the recess; notes that Sunday 5th July marks the first anniversary of the closure of the Bank; and urges the liquidators Touche Ross to call a meeting of creditors and former employees forthwith.
