Motion text

That this House is appalled by the systematic extermination of the Karen and Rohingya minorities in Burma; registers its concern that political and religious human rights continue to be violated as citizens are killed, tortured, raped or used as forced labour; and demands the immediate release of the democratically-elected leader of the National League for Democracy, Mrs Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, and the restitution of democracy in Burma.
