Motion text

That this House congratulates the thousands of disabled people who attended the mass rally in Trafalgar Square on 9th July; commends the organisers of the event and supports the demand for a comprehensive Civil Rights Bill for Disabled People; notes the very high levels of support nationwide for the Civil Rights (Disabled Persons) Bill of this session; and condemns the Government's cycnical manipulation of the parliamentary process which resulted in the death of that Bill.
