leave out from 'notes' to end and add 'expresses surprise that the Liberal Democrat controlled Richmond upon Thames Council is being used as an example of Liberal Democrat supposed loss of support; notes that the Liberal Democrats have held Richmond upon Thames Council for the past 11 years with over 40 of the 52 seats since 1987; further notes that 47 of the 56 seats on Sutton Council are held by Liberal Democrats; and congratulates Liberal Democrat success in Kingston upon Thames which has added to the South West London effect.'.

Original motion text

That this House notes the correlation between the loss of council seats by the Liberal Democrats in Tower Hamlets and Richmond upon Thames, and the public's recent experience of the failure of Liberal Democrat administration of those councils.
