That this House recognises with gratitude the awesome history of the Royal Welch Fusiliers and that for the last 335 years they have remained unamalgamated; while winning 144 battle honours; congratulates them on their very successful tour in Iraq from which they have just returned; and urges the Government to think again before allowing this unrivalled record to be lost.
