That this House wishes to express its appreciation of the distinguished services to the nation of Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir Peter Harding; expresses sadness at his untimely resignation; and records its relief that neither Admiral Lord Nelson nor the first Duke of Wellington were subject to the attentions of the tabloid press.
