Motion text

That this House notes the contents of the statement issued by Mr John Magill, the appointed Auditor for Westminster City Council; deplores the Building Stable Communities policy whereby council funds were used to subsidise the shipping out of the poor and homeless and the shipping in of the rich for the sole purpose of maintaining Conservative control of the authority; demands that those who wasted council funds should be made to repay all lost funds; and believes that anyone found to be responsible for illegal acts and thus unfit to hold local government office should equally be deemed to be unfit to serve as an honourable Member of this House.
