Motion text

That this House expresses its grave concern at the attack on Mushroom Bookshop, Nottingham, by neo-Nazis on Saturday, 15th January; recognising the majority of the perpetrators of the attack were from Derbyshire, calls on the Chief Constable of Derbyshire to use all the powers at his disposal to prevent neo-Nazis meeting at the Red Lion, Heanor, to plan violent and illegal actions; and further asks that he prevents the organisation of racist events such as 'White Christmas' at the Alexandra Club, Sandiacre, organised by the known racist organisation 'Blood and Honour', which was clearly used to fuel racial hatred and violence.
